Starry Splendor

Struck with awe at starry splendor,

A constant sunlight warms my soul

You, my dear, are like the heavens

And with you my emotions go

 

To shimmering tails of comets passed,

With Cassiopeia I dance

Caressed by your soft moonlit glow

I feel much more alive

 

Around Orion, my heart’s melting

Frozen planets seem envying

Nebulas crashing, everlasting

The love I have for thee.

 

Riding on a sunset horse

The world is dark, and all is hush

But while I have you by my side,

My heart will sing, my soul is bright!
